We go by a lot of names at the Brewery. Some of you know us as the Brew House, “my office,” “our place,” Johnny Russ Island, the list goes on and on. Maybe we are your favorite I-90 pit stop or perhaps you didn’t even know we were even here until recently, but regardless of how long it’s been, we are grateful for your patronage and glad you’re here.
It's been over five years since John Russell Brewing Company started brewing and switched gears from “The Beer Store” to a Brew House and Restaurant. We’ve undergone a lot of changes in staffing, beers, menu items and everything in between, but our commitment to good beer, good food, and a welcoming atmosphere hasn’t wavered.
It is with this spirit of change in mind that we want to share with you some up and coming events and beers that can be expected from us at the start of 2026. January 9th, 2026 at 7pm we will be launching our popular and anticipated Passport to Win giveaway, with a trip for two to Ireland on the line.
Friday the 9th, the Brewery will host a party (and we all know Hannah loves a party), to celebrate Cheers to Irish Beers. The Mulligans will be playing from 7pm – 10pm, there will be giveaways from John Russell Brewing Company, Irish Whiskey, and Guinness. The Irish beers will be pouring freely AND if you come in to start your passport that night, your stamp counts as an added entry to the trip! You’re welcome!
Our Brewmaster, Kenny, is in the process of brewing up a stout that will hit the taps that night. If you remember “What’s the Frequency, Kenneth? Volume 1,” then this should be a familiar beer! It’s going to sit at about 7% ABV, with a dry roasted flavor, a hint of bitterness, and everything you come to expect from a traditional stout. We can’t wait to get it on tap and into your hands! ‘Tis the season for dark beer and we have some fun things up our sleeves with this one.
